Tricia mary Lee : Muse to the Sacred Feminine Mysteries, Sacred Dancer, Author, Natural Therapist, Teacher/ Trainer, Celebrant, Sacred Circle Facilitator and Co-ordinator of Bali Sacred Dance Retreat,
Co Vice President of The Sacred Dance Guild
Widely known in West Australia for her work with the Sacred Feminine Path, Tricia has held many Sacred Circles for local women and also trains other women to share this way of spiritual sisterhood, dancing together along the way.
Her books “Stop Punishing Yourself” and “The Sacred Mystery Manuscripts” document her work in the mystical tradition whilst her childrens’ book “The Star who lost her Sparkle” is an allegory for young and old to care for our planet. She has also written and staged a highly successful musical play called “Love Love Love” which includes songs, dance and music from her youth in the 60’s.
She weaves her love for the Arts through out her life and her work and considers her own Sacred Dance to be a lifelong approach that brings both healing and delight to her daily journey towards beauty, grace and soul communion.
Her warmth, compassion and sense of playfulness infuse all she does and her dance sessions touch and honour the soul of the Sacred Feminine self in all its glorious diversity.
An experienced ‘teacher’ she holds this retreat space for you to discover your own Sacred Dancing path, and to enrich your personal spiritual practice through dance and the arts.
“As a woman, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and wife,
the greatest wisdom that I have been blessed to acquire,
has come from Dancing on the Wheel of Life.
Come join me in Beautiful Bali and share the Sacred Women’s Way”
“My Sacred Dancing Path has carried me from formal ballet and tap classes as a young ‘Maiden’, through to jazz and contemporary styles as a ‘Mystress’, onto Yoga and Tai Chi as a ‘Mother’ and finally into exploring and training in “Movement Centred Body Therapy”, Oriental Women’s Dance then back to Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong as I embrace the Muse stage of my life.
I discovered The Sacred Dance Guild in 2003 and was blessed to receive a scholarship to attend the 50th Festival in 2008 in Connecticut, USA. Entitled “Dancing The Mystery” this was a seminal time in my life and I treasure the learning, inspiration and soul connections that I found there.
In July 2014, Maria and I attended the Findhorn Festival of Sacred Music and Dance in far north Scotland. A rich exposure to the European Circle dance traditions especially those of the Rom people gave us many hours of ‘communion’ with Sacred dancers from around the world. We include some of the wonderful dances and music we learnt from there in all our Retreats [ especial thanks to Barbara Swetina : www.sacredsongs.net]
Through 2015, I deepened my experience of the inner chi movements which support feminine health and sacred flow as well as shared local dance performances with other women. I was inspired to create “The Dance of Loving Kindness”, a set of Qigong moves aimed at opening the heart of compassion to the self and the wider world which I then taught on Retreat in 2016.
Our Bali Sacred Dance Retreat in 2015 was a deep and enriching experience for me as I watched all the dancers grow and become radiant in their own dancing skins surrounded by the beautiful energy which has to be felt and experienced to be understood. Our ‘Bali signature dance’ of the Lotus opening and closing was truly birthed and blessed.
Last year, 2016, in my hometown of Busselton in W Australia, I worked to raise the powerful Mermaid archetype through dance and song with a local group of women. Symbolic of the tides of our deep emotional selves, the Mermaid brought forward great healing for both personal and community growth, a journey into beauty, mystery and power.
Our Retreat focussing on the Lotus Heart in May 2016 was a powerful journey within and for many it came at a time when grief was an emotional current in their lives. The Dance took us into release and healing as well as gratitude and celebration. Mother Bali wrapped herself around us giving us the safe space we all needed for this growth of compassion to the self.
This year Maria and I are celebrating our final retreat together and focussing deeply on the consciousness of the sacred within the Wholly Feminine dancing body. We are delighted to be able to offer two scholarships in support of our work in Bali and the growth of Sacred Dance globally
Currently I am creating a “Dance of Life” programme for local women touched by Cancer and also grief.
I look forward to dancing with you in 2017 as we embrace the Dance of Sacredness in our Wholly Feminine selves.
Blessings of the Dance be with you,”
“Barefoot, Blessed and Beautiful”
